American Soil began with one basic idea; produce and deliver high quality soil products throughout Ventura, Los Angeles, and Santa Barbara counties. Since that time, we have become an essential part of thousands of backyards, organic vegetable gardens, award-winning commercial projects, community gardens, municipal projects, school projects and roof-top gardens.

 

We begin our composting process with pure virgin wood shavings and sawdust and we adhere to stringent United States Composting Council government approved, Seal of Testing Assurance Standards (USCC-STA Program) for macro and micro nutrient stability. Our organic compost, topsoil mixes, and mulches save water by allowing your soil to retain more water, increase vigorous plant growth, and aerates your soil to facilitate deeper root development and better air/water porosity and percolation.
